Many of the craft skills we have today were generated by past generations either out of necessity or creativity.
These abilities are the foundation of many jobs in today's job market. It is important to develop and nurture inspiration, creativity and artisanship in our adults and children so they can offer these attributes to America's workplace as well as provide a foundation of creative accomplishment for future generations.
York County certainly reflects the artisans' handcraft in the monuments, the pottery, the weaving, and the specialized skills in manufacturing.
Your contribution will help to encourage, educate, stimulate and promote these handcraft skills for present and future generations.
