Mondays – June 3, 10, 17, 24 and July 1

The class will cover an introduction to the tools used in preparing and designing a large display bowls and vases. Demonstration of weaving techniques and coloring treatments will allow students to elevate their pieces to functional art. By creating art from gourds, students with an interest in cutting, carving, burning and experimenting with color and shape will gain or enhance their ability to design unique one-of-a-kind art pieces.
