Inspire...Create...Educate...Promote...Heritage and Contemporary Handcraft!
Welcome to York Town Craft Guild
As the only organization in the York community having its purpose to encourage the continuation of heritage handcraft and to inspire creativity in contemporary fine handcraft, York Town Craft Guild strives to nurture community members,  both adults and children, in developing an awareness of their ability to create something with their hands and reap the self-esteem and self-confidence which develops and enhances the life experience regardless of occupation or income.   YTCG seeks to inspire people of all ages,  whether novice or accomplished, by providing affordable workshops taught by skilled craftsmen and offering opportunities for the artisans to exhibit and/or sell their work for others to enjoy.    York Town Craft Guild has been located in York since 1948 and is one of the oldest chapters of the PA Guild of Craftsmen.
